外边距和内边距是不会继承的，否则你外面一个元素设置了内边距或外边距，里面的元素全部继承了，不是麻烦了嘛，还要一个个改回去，如果要让全部标签都内外边距为0，可以这样

*{margin:0padding:0}

不过又有人觉得用通配符选择器的话，有些没有内边距或者外边距的元素也多此一举的设置了一次，不利于页面的读取速度。所以会把有内边距或外边距的标签一个个列举，如

div, p, ul, h1, h2, h4, img, form, label{margin:0padding:0}

一般也就是这样重置标签的。

甚至还有人把只有内边距或者只有外边距的元素也分开写，本人觉得没有这个必要
